What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mt. Hood Meadows is frequently praised as the best mountain in Oregon, offering a wide variety of terrain for all skill levels and a less touristy atmosphere compared to other local resorts. Visitors appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere, efficient rental services, and the unique summer lift operations. Some find it pricier than smaller resorts but a good value for the experience.
"Best mountain in Oregon in my opinion. Great runs, mixed snow types, and lots of different terrain. Cheaper than others across but obviously not the cheapest, bigger than Timberline and Ski Bowl and seems to be the least touristy of the bunch. All from my perspective of course going to all those Mt Hood area resorts every year. Good night skiing operation as well."

"We went to Mt. Hood in July so we figured we would just be able to do a little walking to see anything. Believe it or not they had 1 ski lift working in the summer months for people like us that wanted to see more of Oregon. It was reasonably priced at $20 each person. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient with us. Highly recommend, even in the summer months!!! 😁🤓👀🏞️🪵🚡🖼️☯️"

"Summer visit: thrilled to find such an amazing place so close to PDX airport. Maybe one and a half hours one way. Not crowded at all. Spend majority of a Saturday wondering the trails and encountered very few people. Great place and look forward to another visit. Cafe French fries were really good."
