Reviews Summary

Remley's Point Park is lauded for its excellent boat ramp access to Charleston Harbor and stunning sunset views, though it can get very crowded on weekends. Visitors appreciate the free parking and proximity to fishing and wildlife, but note the lack of facilities and potential challenges with tides and boat wakes. Reddit+1

"Out of the way, definitely hidden! Once you find it, you will be back. Good parking. Easy boat launching. Several boats at the same time. Then bam, you are right in the middle of everything!! The Ravenel Bridge, downtown Charleston Rainbow Row, the forts, so much! Little islands available to land and spend the day. Dolphins, lots of Dolphins! For the landing, I didn't see any facilities at all. Just the ramp and parking. These are free!"

"While Remley is the largest public boat ramp in Mount Pleasant it is also the busiest. The rather large parking lot will fill up quickly on weekends and holidays (often times with novice boaters). It has the easiest access to the harbor and a straight shot to the jetties when going offshore. That said, this is a great place to catch a sunset over the river and a gorgeous view of the Ravnel Bridge and downtown Charleston."

"Nice area to go fishing or you can take your boat out to enjoy 😉 the view"
