"I found this place fascinating. Each of the wildlife areas on Fir Island have their own individual charm. This one presents a stark saltwater marsh over greater than 270° When one 8s out at the end of the trail"

Tom Eastep

"Great little spot to watch wildlife. Incredibly short walking trails, but numerous benches.
You need a Discover Pass to park here. A portion of the short trail is paved. There is a porta-potty available for use as of 8/14/22. On a clear day you can see both Kulshan (Mt. Baker) and Tahoma (Mt. Rainier)"
