What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Whisman Park is a well-loved community space offering a variety of amenities, including a playground for older kids, tennis courts, and a popular dog park. Visitors appreciate its connection to scenic trails and its suitability for picnics and gatherings. Some note the playground is less ideal for very young children.
"This is a nice neighborhood park. There are two play structures focused more towards bigger kids (not baby/toddler friendly). There are multiple slides, climbing areas, monkey bars, and a large sand area. There are also 4 standard swings (no baby/toddler bucket swings). There is a little music area as well. There are a lot of picnic benches around and the area is very popular for birthday parties on the weekend. There are a few grills as well and a public restroom. The park has a large grass area and tennis courts too. Street parking is available and next door is the German International School whose parking lot seems to be okay to use on the weekend (not weekdays due to school being in session). It can get quite busy but overall a pretty nice spot to play."
