"Stopped for the tasting experience that runs every half hour. Super knowledgeable tour host. Learned lots of new things about both this distillery in particular in addition to other distilling related fun facts. They make sweet, not sour mash and only use locally sourced corn for their spirits, not wheat. The tasting options are either for gin or whiskey. We opted for whiskey. Very smooth and flavorful sprits. The Apple Ambush whiskey is so delicious, we brought some home to enjoy. Super cute gift shop with a variety of souvenirs for purchase. They have a very nice patio where you can relax and play games or enjoy some premade snacks they offer."

If you are in the area go in and give it a try. Keith is awesome. This is another place where I wish I could give more stars. The Apple Ambush Whiskey was our favorite, but all were worth trying! The vodka was one of the best we’ve had as well! Worth the trip if you’re visiting near.
