Tucked away in North Augusta, SC, Brick Pond Park is one of the most scenic spots in the CSRA. With crystal-clear water, shallow flats, and tons of natural cover, it looks like the PERFECT bass fishing spot… except you can’t fish here! 😅 ….well at least in the spots that look super fishy 🤣 But don’t worry—I found a spot nearby where you CAN fish, and it looks 🔥 for spring bass! Would you give thi...

Visitors appreciate the well-maintained trails and boardwalks, making it ideal for short walks and family outings. "The Brick Pond in North Augusta is a hidden gem. It's the perfect spot for a walk or run. You're sure to see wildlife and enjoy relaxing vistas. With so many trails in this area permanently shut down from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene in 2024, it's a relief to have access to a well kept series of meandering trails."

Elle Bee

"Perfect short walk to do with kids through the woods and on the boardwalk. Saw about 10 young alligators, blue Herron, unhinged, turtles etc. Several places to have a picnic and close to some good local restaurants. Best to park by the municipal building."

Samantha Nicholson Canfield

"This is a delightful spot to watch and listen to birds. The regulars (human) are very friendly and helpful. We were able to find the resident gators with their help. We also saw the great egret tree in West Pond. The local egrets (and one white ibis) fly in to roost for the night, and that's fun to watch. If you go right at sunrise, you can watch them leave for their various destinations.
We weren't there at peak season, but still saw and heard a good variety of birds."
