Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about North Beach's stunning views of the Deception Pass Bridge and its unique, colorful rocky shoreline. It's praised as a peaceful spot for relaxation, wildlife spotting, and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Some note the water is very cold, and a Discover Pass is required for parking.
"Beautiful beach in the winter as well as the summer. There are picnic tables and a wonderful view of the bridge. You can park near it off the road, closed in the winter, or a half-mile hike from West Beach. Beautiful!"
William Case
"Epic spot to hammock and enjoy the view! While hanging here, we saw harbor porpoises, plenty of birds, and jellyfish in the water— and fighter jets in the sky from the nearby naval air station!
There’s the main trail but there is also a secret trail that runs parallel to it on the beach. To get there, go on the main beach that’s west of North Beach, head towards the picnic area, and turn right. Then you can climb the rocks to get back on the main trail or keep walking to find the offshoot of the main trail."

"The water is super cold, but we did see some people swim. Not very crowded and has restrooms and picnic tables available."
