Reviews Summary

Albert I Allen Memorial Park is a convenient and clean spot with a good playground and sports facilities. However, the permanently closed and unsafe observation pier is a significant disappointment, and visitors should be aware of potential court conflicts with pickleball players.

"The observation Pier is permanently closed it's missing a bunch of planks and looks like something out of an Indiana Jones movie The absolutely need to repair it or a haul it away entirely it's advertised on the maps is being open and it is not available for use it's not a good location to bring your family it's just in disrepair."

Christopher Lotito

"A nice playground for kids. This park also has a skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, activities, shuffle board and a wooden bridge that extends out over the marsh/bay."

April

"If you are looking to play tennis here in the morning, save yourself a trip and find another location. We attempted to go here twice over vacation and TENNIS courts were filled with pickleball players. On our first attempt, we were told courts are reserved for pickleball till 10am, we couldn’t find anything online or posted that stated that. We tried again later in the week and courts were full and the people that were there were not open to accommodating anyone but pickleball players. I wish there were more places that would prioritize tennis."
