"Bought a little Skylander figure for $20 on Sunday around 3 o'clock during the street fair. Did it notice till I got home that part of it was broken and one of the parts moved. I went back and asked if there was anything they could do. The two ladies at the front were really unhelpful The one lady was a little bit nice, but they just were extremely unhelpful and almost came off as greedy. They didn't offer to do an exchange if there was another one or a discount or anything and just said that all sales were final. They wouldn't even let me speak to the manager. I won't be buying from them again anytime soon. Also, in case they see this, I'll be disputing the charge, so I'll just get it for free anyways."

"Great mall with a massive selection of items. I could spend all day wandering around in here and browsing their stuff. I'm a music nerd, so the countless vinyl record sections and the guitars downstairs are always a temptation for me. I do wish there was a little more organization with the records purely because I'm obsessed with a particular band and would love to be able to find their stuff easily, but I understand that the mall is full of independent sellers and organizing all the records would be a Herculean undertaking even if all of the staff worked together. Anyway, I'll definitely be back regardless"

The Thrill of the Hunt: Finding Unique Antiques
However, the experience is not without its nuances. Some reviewers have noted an increase in newer vendors selling mass-produced or AI-generated items, which can detract from the authentic antique feel. This highlights the importance of being a discerning shopper and seeking out vendors who are genuinely passionate about their wares. The layout, with its many independent sellers, means organization can be a challenge, particularly for specific items like records, requiring patience and a keen eye.
Despite these points, the allure of finding that perfect, unexpected treasure keeps people coming back. The atmosphere is often described as lively and engaging, making it a popular spot for a day of exploration and unique finds.
Navigating Parking and Crowds
The popularity of the antique row also means it can get quite crowded, particularly during peak times. The aisles can become cramped, making browsing a bit more challenging. If you prefer a more relaxed shopping experience, opting for a weekday visit, ideally in the morning, is your best bet. This allows for a more leisurely exploration of the diverse offerings without the hustle and bustle of larger crowds.
Vendor Integrity and Quality Control
This situation underscores the importance of buyer vigilance. Inspecting items thoroughly before purchase is crucial, especially since many vendors have a strict 'all sales final' policy. While the management may not be directly responsible for individual dealer practices, the integrity of the overall marketplace is affected. Visitors are encouraged to seek out vendors with a clear passion for antiques to ensure a more rewarding shopping experience.
