"We just returned from our annual family trip to Beach Hammock Resort. Once again, we had a great and relaxing time. I want to thank the excellent staff at this property. Every single person is friendly and professional! I want to especially thank John (from Turkey) for his patience in getting blinds that wouldn't open taken care of. And the wonderful Alberta for expediting permission for John to remove the blinds. This lady gets things done!! She's helped us in the past. Also, a big thank you to Christian for follow up calls to make sure everything was okay. It is people like these who keep us coming back! I gave the condo four stars because this year the owner decided to lock the master closet and leave a small broom closet for guests and for not having the automated blinds checked to make sure, they worked. They post a sign on the wall (very tacky!) that warns you that if you break the blinds you pay!! Well check them first then!! Just know that the resort has no control over these issues. Overall, I highly recommend Beach Hammock Resort!"

"The bed was incredibly uncomfortable with a huge sag in the middle, the sheets were not plush and just stiff. We walked into the steakhouse ahead of two other parties and we were asked to wait because they had to “seat members first.” They made us feel unseen the whole time. They also nickel and dimed us. I have never had to pay for a beach chair at a resort where I’m paying a resort fee. Then the putting green was poorly maintained. The food everywhere was average. The buildings in general need better maintenance and the cleaning staff are not cleaning because the bathroom floors were black all over the resort. Only the room cleaner at the lodge looked like she was working hard. The ice maker was leaking under the carpet into our room. The lodge doors don’t close they just slam shut all night long. Lastly the hot tub was lukewarm. The property is nice but feels poorly managed and maintained."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room and bathroom were huge and we loved our private balcony. The tiny kitchenette area was great: a few dishes and silverware, the option to cook on a small stove, etc. The pools were fun and it was nice to have the option to use the indoor pool when the thunderstorms rolled in every afternoon. (Indoor pool was pretty cold, and it’s not well lit, but our kids still had a blast). - It was a fairly easy walk to the beach and they have a little cart with guys handing out towels. We found most of the staff to be pleasant and helpful. - Areas for improvement would be more timely room cleaning, and the phones in the room have shortcuts to the front desk/concierge but the buttons don’t work."
