Many highlight the tractor tour and the opportunity to learn about pioneer life as major draws. The horseback riding is also a significant positive, with instructors receiving high marks. "Review Add-On: Our homeschool group enjoyed an engaging field trip today with Alice and Abby learning about archeology and Timucuan Indigenous tribe practices. I can’t thank you all enough! Thank you to our wagon master, Jim, as well!!! We look forward to many more returns.

My family took a historic tour with Christina as our tour guide on Halloween. She is a wonderfully insightful, engaging and patient tour guide! We learned so much and had a wonderful time. Afterwards we enjoyed the festivities at the barn (Halloween Celebration). Jim was really on top of all the details. We had a great time playing games, trick or treating, doing the scavenger hunt and playing in bubbles! The candy cannon was such a treat! The staff and volunteers were all so incredible and kind. We can’t say thank you enough for such a wonderful family day- Thank you Alice, Christina, Jim, Kara, Linda, Jill, Gene and everyone else who continue to contribute to our community and heritage preservation.

My oldest also does horse riding lessons with Cheryl who is just amazing with the children and the horses.

Everyone here makes the ag museum feel like it’s part of our home."

"I recently visited this place on a whim after researching Florida Cracker Sheep and seeing that they raise them here. I went for the full tour and had Diamond Jim as my guide. I had a blast! I learned so many fun things about how agricultural families lived and worked in the past. The tour takes you on a tractor ride and then through several historical structures including family homes and a trading post. The trading post had so many cool antiques to look at. The full tour also includes a walkthrough of the animal pens where you can see sheep, cows, goats, pigs, and horses (also a donkey and a boar!) and learn some fun facts about each. There is a separate tour option that is just of the animals if you're not as interested in going into the historical buildings. The gift shop is in an old post office and even the refrigerator in there was a working antique from the 1940s. So cool!

The tour was definitely worth the trip down from Jacksonville. It was a bit warm when I went, but now that the weather is starting to cool off a bit, this is a great weekend activity to get outside with the family, or even just by yourself like I did :) I definitely suggest taking some sunscreen regardless so you can enjoy your adventure sunburn free."

"The animals here are so well taken care of, and Kristin was so knowledgeable about everything, and we asked her a million questions. Alice was also so friendly and helpful. Myself, my mom, and my 5yo all really enjoyed our tour. Highly recommend!!"
