Reviews Summary

Castle Green is lauded for its breathtaking Gilded Age architecture and timeless elegance, making it a dream venue for weddings and events. Visitors consistently praise its historic charm and the helpfulness of its event staff. However, some note that the building's exterior and certain areas can appear run-down, and the surrounding neighborhood may not always feel welcoming.

"Castle Green is an absolutely stunning venue with timeless elegance. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The option to have the ceremony either indoors or outdoors was a huge plus, and the venue's natural beauty meant we didn’t need much extra decor. There are so many different rooms for the guest to explore and I loved the fact they only have one wedding per day.

Tatiana (coordinator) was wonderful to work with—super helpful and made the entire planning process stress-free. I also recommend attending one of their open houses to meet their preferred vendors—it really helped us make great choices.

Brides: definitely consider adding the bridal suite. The extra space made getting ready so much easier and more enjoyable!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Castle Green. Highly recommend!"

"We had our wedding on 6/28/2025 at Castle Green, and we could not have been happier with the experience. From start to finish, the coordinator (Tatiana) was available to help us with anything and everything that popped up. One of the standout things about working with Castle Green was their attention to detail. Tatiana shared everything we needed to book the space in a clear and concise manner. We also went with many of their suggested vendors from a thoughtful but extensive list provided at booking. We were a little nervous that we were required to use their caterer, but we had a decent experience with the caterer and we loved our food day-of. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly. Guests raved about the beautiful exterior and interior spaces. We loved having our ceremony outdoors and our reception indoors. Tatiana truly made us feel cared for and that meant so much to us. Also, we loved how there were so many spaces to take photos in and for guests to relax throughout the night. We wholeheartedly recommend Castle Green as a wedding venue. We couldn’t imagine having had our big day anywhere else."

"Hosted a 20's themed fundraising event for a bit under 200 people a while back and it turned out AMAZING.

Overall everything was great, the venue and caterer were awesome and easy to work with. Pretty much everything besides entertainment and décor were handled by venue and caterer which made things super easy and a low work load.
Having access to the outdoor spaces and many indoor spaces is a huge plus allowing for different spaces to be used for different times during the party.

Food was very tasty and the ambiance fit our theme perfectly.

I will say the only thing I wish I would have known is that in the ballroom, speakers are defiantly needed in the very back if you have anything being said on a mic. We hosted a live auction and only had large speakers in the front thinking it would project to the back but with normal noise from chatter and people moving, you could not make out what was being said. Easy fix would have been to add a speaker or two to the back.

I would definitely recommend the venue!"
