"Amazing experience! Prob one the best Los Angeles county area museums we have been too. The layout works very well, and even though the parking lot is full, you do not feel crowded or rushed inside. There are essentially four long corridors of European centric art/sculptures on the entry floor; two more modern works/eras (Van Gough, Picasso, Monet, etc.), and the other two corridors filled with earlier period artist and works.
On the lower floor a pretty amazing SE Asian exhibit. Also below is the outdoor cafe!
Sculpture garden is amazing, but was closed when we were there for renovations. Despite the construction work, no real issue or impact on our time there.
Parking lot is free, and even when busy seems to do the trick well!
Highly recommend this spot! It is very close to the Pasadena Colorado hub (great food, shopping, etc.)."

"The Norton Simon Museum is such a gem, it’s intimate, and incredibly well curated. The collection is fabulous, with an impressive range that includes European masterpieces, modern works, and stunning South and Southeast Asian art. Each gallery is thoughtfully arranged, allowing the art to really shine without feeling overwhelming. The sculpture garden is also a highlight—lush, serene, and the perfect place to pause and reflect. Whether you’re a casual visitor or a serious art lover, this museum offers a truly enriching experience. A must-visit in Pasadena!"
