"Beautiful large state park with plenty of amenities. Boat launching, camping, bike riding, kayaking and paddleboarding. Kids playground, picnic areas, bathrooms and areas to swim. Quiet, shared space with nature."

"Rented the Govenor's pavilion for club picnic. Large and has grill and plenty of seating on two levels. Bathroom just off of pavilion. Scenery and grounds very nice."
Tim
"What a nice park! It has nice hiking trails, most of the sites are secluded with trees in between so we had our privacy. The bathrooms are very clean and we saw the camp host cleaning the sites as soon as they were empty. The National Park on the beach is about 4 miles away so not far by car. No easy pedestrian way to access it but if you have the National Park pass it’s free to go in. The beach is miles long and very few people on it. It was great. Pensacola is also pretty close so we could see the Blue Angels fighter jets practicing. Very cool!!"
