First of all, the Boca Grande Causeway takes you to a beautiful place, and second of all the journey across the causeway itself is just beautiful. I've lived in Florida for twenty-seven years and crossing this causeway makes me marvel at the old Florida charm that seems to be disappearing. Running parallel to the causeway is an old Seaboard Air Line Railroad causeway which is also interesting to see in it's state of abandonment."
