Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Clayville Historic Site for its authentic historical immersion and the dedication of its volunteers. It's lauded as an educational destination for families and a charming venue for events, though some note that food options can be limited outside of special festivals.

"We used Clayville as our wedding venue on September 9, 2023 and it was the most perfect venue for our day! We had around 100 guests and the space was more than enough for us all. The wonderful volunteers who keep this historic site operating are great to work with and allowed us to have a lot of freedom in decorating and making the space work for us. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour in the beautiful spaces between the buildings on site. We then moved inside of the main barn for the reception which was such a beautiful space that we enjoyed decorating. We were also able to use spaces on venue for getting ready on the day which was awesome. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding that has rustic charm and beautiful spaces this is definitely somewhere to check out."
