What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique opportunity to see African wildlife, especially the memorable giraffe feeding. The preserve's mission of animal preservation is appreciated, and the rustic accommodations offer a quirky charm. However, some guests have experienced issues with customer service and found the overall experience to be pricey for the duration.
"We visited here during our annual Manchester camping trip. We chose to drive through in our own car. My daughter really only cared about feeding the giraffe at the end.
Animals look very well cared for with plenty of room to roam.
Baby zebras were extra cute!"

"We rented a couple of cabins as a family. They are interestingly crafted, from old school architectural salvage. Comfortable enough, though a little funky. We didn't go on the tour. Could see the giraffes from the driveway. But felt like staying (somewhat) in a prison camp. Can't walk around. There's only so much to do in Point Arena, two nights was one night too many for us. So pleasant but not worth the price imo."

"Incredibly accommodating and helpful for my proposal to my now fiance. The cabins are amazing with the vintage items, hot tub, and animal decorations. The reserve and tour was perfect. This place is a hidden gem and they truly care about every single animal on site. Can’t wait to come back!"
