What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the stunning ocean views from the observation lab and the scenic trails around the historic military base. The area offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty, though some note that interior access to buildings is limited and signage could be improved. The proximity to Provincetown adds to its appeal.
"Beautiful old decommissioned airforce radar base some really nice trails around the area. The base proper was unfortunately closed off to the public when I was there, was looking forward to exploring some of the old buildings. Part of the trail leads up to a wave observation lab which has the most beautiful view of the ocean I've ever seen. Possibly the most beautiful view of anything I've ever seen"

"Loved the venue! Robert Cray band was phenomenal!"
Alice Morgan
"Dilapidated, boarded up buildings are monuments to a bygone era, the history of which is not told. The "scan me" QR codes don't work. The paintings are pretty enough and engaging. Other signage is good, standard federal parks issue stuff. The platform to view the ocean is mostly behind bushes that are thriving better than the planners suspected they might."
