What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Pilgrim Monument a worthwhile experience, particularly for its stunning panoramic views and the informative museum. While the climb requires some effort, most agree it's manageable and the vistas from the top are exceptional. Some find the monument itself less remarkable than the historical context provided by the museum.
"Can't say anything about this place, except that the price for parking was $15, but I have seen probably free parking lots before entering their parking lot, from the left side. If you want even just to aproach and see the monument, you have to buy the tickets, and only then you will have access to the building itself. When we came from Boston, there was a private event there, and they closed earlier, I didn't plan to climb the tower, wanted just to approach and see it. There was no way, because the place is gated. It is open from April till November."

"Beautiful summer day and a fun stop after lunch to explore some the Pilgrim monument and learn about some of the history .
There is no wait when we got here on a weekday and we came straight through . It is a bit pricey but at the end of the day it’s part of the historical experience.
There is an inclined elevator that slowly takes you up and back to the monument . We were the only ones in the elevator. Must have been lucky as it was a weekday .
Views are great ones you arrive and there are benches to sit and enjoy the surrounding scenery .
Definitely something to do for a first timer but would not do it a second time if I returned ."

"The visit to the tower itself is not a particularly remarkable experience, nor is the view from the top especially impressive. It is a nice experience, but nothing extraordinary. However, the museum is truly worth visiting. It is extremely interesting and contains many fascinating details about the history of the town as well as the entire Cape. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area."
