I’m back with another update of what’s happening here in Southern Utah!🗣️ This time I’m back in St. George in the Fort Pierce Business Park. 👀🔥 What a fantastic way to start with the new year with news of Amazon opening it’s doors here along with a number of other awesome businesses around it. It’s always cool to see what’s happening around here as a lot of the big companies in St. George are out...

Will be in Provo for a few weeks, what to do?

Hi, I am from Europe and will be in Provo for 3 weeks in June. for work I am looking for some things to do and to see. My interest are culture, nature, specialty shopping, religion (not religious myself, but interested) farmer markets, music (rock and punkrock), meeting people,…

Kid-Friendly Fun

Playground is a hit with little ones when the skate park is quiet. :child:

Trail Caution

Be mindful on nearby trails at night; consider going with a buddy. 🚶

I am going to Provo next week for work. Is there anything that you would recommend as a must see while I am in the area? Of course we plan to see Salt Lake and maybe one of the Hot Springs.

Definitely drive up into American fork canyon and do a little hiking. Timpanogos falls or Stewart cascades are nice, relatively short hikes in American fork

Reviews Summary

Fort Utah Park is a beloved community space, particularly for its baseball fields and a unique, retro skate park that offers a nostalgic charm. While the playground is a hit with families, some visitors note caution is needed on nearby trails at night due to potential safety concerns.

"Looks like big baseball fans in this area there is a playground and bathrooms nice skate park as well"

Jason Eddie

"Fantastic place to run. No homeless at this park but lots later on the trail so don’t run alone at night"

Nathan Fales

"A relic of days gone by, I presume this park was built pre Tony Hawk's first 900. You know, before there were dedicated skatepark construction companies and cities just hired random builders to build what they think might be good for skating.

But there lies the charm. If you found any of these contraptions as part of a legit street spot it would be considered the best street spot around.

Alas, it's not a street spot. It's a skatepark. And it's a bit rubbish, but still a bit fun.
