"We wantonly wandered up on this place and it was a joy. Our road trip meandered across a bunch of unpaved roads to turn up in Pryor, a dusty little place where we found this State Park. What a wonderful little sanctuary dedicated to last acting Chief of the Crow Reservation. Somewhat sad, but a great tribute to a bygone day. You can visit the sacred spring around which Chief Plenty Coups built his home. You can view his house and support the Park at the visitor's center which was full of information. Becca was super friendly & knowledgeable & made us feel welcome."
