Visiting my dad with my teenage sons and looking for fun things within an hour or so. Would love a cool nature experience and to know where the best shopping is. We went to the beach at Gasparilla yesterday and enjoyed it. Thx!

"Great little treasure at the end of Sandhill in Deep Creek. Peaceful trails are well maintained. You can walk or run depending on you preference. While living in SW Florida is always a getaway, this gets you even a little further."

"Hidden neighborhood gem! A bit rough drive down the dirt road to the entrance of the park. It’s a great place to walk, but wouldn’t recommend jogging/running as the path is filled with ruts/ holes and could easily sprain an ankle…It’s a very peaceful walk through the trails and easy to navigate after checking out the informative map at the entrance"

"Great park one of the best in Charlotte county in my opinion, it's just hard to find because the gps doesn't take you to it.
To get there you have to go to the end of Seasons dr where it connects with Sandhill blvd.

There is a small little dirt trail that almost looks as if you aren't supposed to drive on it, but you can. The road is a little rough so be aware if you have a low suspension car."
