Opinions on staying at Quinault lodge??
We’ve got reservations for October. We’ve been to the park before but mostly stayed around PA, Crescent Lake, and Hurricane Ridge. We’re going for our 10 year anniversary (our first trip was our honeymoon) and booked a fireplace room at Quinault Lodge. We’d like to see more of…

Going there in August and hear mixed reviews on the place, but not sure if its better to stay in the main lodge or the boathouse or lakeside area? Some reviews complained of no A/C and being hot, loud, dirty rooms, but not sure what part

Stay at Lake Quinault for 3 Nights (Entire Trip)
We are traveling to Seattle and ONP in late July. I naively just booked three nights at Lake Quinault without doing more research and now I'm seeing that this place is HUGE and everyone says you should have multiple base camps. My question is - How big of a deal is this to stay…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests often praise the Lake Quinault Lodge for its stunning natural setting and historic charm, with many enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding rainforest. However, some visitors find the lodge's amenities dated and the prices for dining and WiFi to be high, leading to mixed feelings about value for money.
"We enjoyed our weekend at the Lodge. The staff are very pleasant and eager to assist. We celebrated our 30th anniversary here this weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. We enjoyed a bicycle ride around the lake taking in the beautiful fall colors and then enjoyed a romantic dinner in the Rosevelt Dining room. After the long day and great food, we slept like babies in our comfortable room and woke up to the amazing lake view! The grounds are immaculately kept and it is nice to just walk around the property and enjoy the scenery. On day 2 we took the recommended hike on the Rainforest trail which was peaceful and scenic. The fact that the lodge was dog friendly made our weekend even better because out fur baby didnt miss out on the fun. Thank you for a spectacular weekend. We will be back in the summer."

"It’s better the sleeping in you car or camping. The website doesn’t make much sense. The food was great but not great enough for the price, $130 for two people. Views and location are amazing. Stayed in a lakeside boathouse room, no AC (heater only), no Tv, and only get 90 min of free WiFi, after that you have to pay. I know the idea is that you’ll be out doing stuff but no TV or WiFi with dated rooms makes me question what the $250 a night I’m paying goes to."

"I’m going to say we enjoy the privately owned historic charm of this place overlooking Lake Quinault. The rooms are still the original with old plumbing, and I felt the small bathroom was in a closet since the sink was in the bedroom area. Our room was clean and comfortable with no view. Just so you know, there is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. We ended up having a late dinner because we didn’t know we had to make reservation at the same time as we made room reservations. You don’t need reservation for the breakfast buffet which costs $25 per person."
