Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the Historic City Market for its charming cobblestone streets and romantic evening ambiance, making it a great spot for dates and leisurely walks. The local eateries, particularly City Market Sushi and Mofu Shoppe, receive high marks for their unique flavors. However, some find the market can be quiet and have vacant spaces during certain times, impacting the overall vibe.
"First time going here and what got us choosing this place is that their ice cream is by Maple View Farms which apparently is known for their Antibiotic free, hormone free, from grass-fed cows ice creams. I love their Coffee and Cookies and Cream flavors. They were so good and are very flavorful. You can actually taste the Coffee! The shop is small but it makes up for the great tasting products they offer. If we're ever back in town, we're sure to come back there!"

"Park View at Market Hall is an awesome venue in Historic City Market downtown Raleigh.
Large space with great lighting surrounded by cobblestone roads and great local restaurants."

"Has potential to be nice I guess, but a lot of the spaces were vacant. When we went (on a Saturday at noon) it was pretty dead which was surprising. The space itself is attractive but it didn’t have any vibes. Just a couple of stores, a couple restaurants, but not really any atmosphere of its own. We left after 5 minutes and went to Moore Park which was full of cops and homeless people. Unpleasant all around. Not sure why this place is advertised as a tourist location."
