"Such a beautiful tucked away garden. We loved looking at all of the different types of roses. Great spot for nature photos. We went at about 2-3pm on a Sunday and it was so quiet and peaceful!"

"This part of my life is called " Stopping to smell the roses". The opportunity presented itself when I planned to take myself on a date for the evening to see The Color Purple at the Raleigh Little Theatre. The Rose Garden is located on the property and is a peaceful place to have lunch or take photos. A romantic date or proposal destination as well. The garden is located below the amphitheater. As soon as you arrive, you are instantly transported to an English garden. The promised land of peonies ! For those of you who don't know, pink roses are my favorite flower. This was pure bliss for me ! Be sure to spend time visiting while in the Oberlin Village area."

"Such a beautiful garden tucked into a neighborhood with free street parking and no entrance free. So many types of roses that were blooming more than how pretty it was the lovely floral smell wafting in the air was extraordinary. It had rained heavily earlier in the week damaging many of the flowers or knocking the petals off the flowers and it was still stunning. We walked around for about an hour enjoying the flowers including butterfly weed, peonies and many other flowers. On the back side of the rose garden, there is a lovely outdoor theater that I’d love to go back to see an outdoor play. This is a treasure in Raleigh and highly recommend a visit when the flowers are in bloom. Would highly recommend a visit."
