Reviews Summary
Torch Lake Sandbar is celebrated for its stunning, Caribbean-like turquoise waters and vibrant social atmosphere. Visitors love the unique experience of walking out into the shallow lake and the lively party scene. However, be prepared for significant crowds, especially on weekends, and limited parking, which can detract from the experience for some.
"Beautiful area, there is also a river close by that is fun to explore. If you’re looking for a secluded spot with no people, this is not the place. It was busy even mid week. But it’s so lovely it’s worth it. It’s shallow enough you can walk all the way to the sandbar, probably an average of four feet deep."

"It was my 1st time at this part of torch lake, I didn't have a clear idea of what a sandbar was. Thank you Jesus, there was a nice guy there to explain it to me. It's basically a solid area, within torch lake, the water comes up a little above your ankles, and you can walk out into the water safely. I'd encourage you to get here early, as it is a really busy, fun area, to ensure you can get suitable parking. It also offers 1 of, the best views of the beautiful water, in torch lake. These pics were taken from the area where you launch your boat."

"Beautiful! Parking is scarce. Seems like a place for locals with everything private & minimal to no parking for visitors. You can rent clear kayaks & I highly recommend!! Michigan is cooler waters then Florida beaches of course. Water is clear, blue & stunning!!! Michigan residents are also use to cold winters so this may be war to them. Takes a bit of adjusting to get use to the waters of Michigan but you do & they do feel good & is nice. Id say 15 mins of adjusting but in the heat of the day its truly remarkable & amazing!"
