"We were recently in Richmond and had to add the state capital to our list of places that we wanted to stop and visit.
We weren't sure if we could enter or tour, but we tried. We found the security guards to be extremely friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience, and we were able to go on a self-tour since we were limited with time.
We were told we could join other timed tours, which was great. At many places we visit, we have to wait for the tour, but at the capital, we were free to go ahead at our pace.
Loved it!"

"Reception and security were all very welcoming, pleasant, and engaging. I walked in to the tour & information office at a very quiet time but they were willing to provide a 1-on-1 guided experience which was awesome. I had the pleasure of touring with Mr. JC Bussard. He is a wonderful custodian of history and was great to interact with and ask questions throughout. As a plus there is no charge to the public. Score!"
