"This place was awesome. The kids loved it. There was an outside sandbox, a scavenger hunt, and a viewing area with telescopes. We saw all kinds of wildlife and we visited in the off season. I can imagine it's even more beautiful in the summer. There are many lookout places as well as benches if you need a rest or want to stop and enjoy the surroundings."

Just be aware there are no bathrooms other than at the visitors center where you can also walk the birding trails around the ponds. Saw a lot of interesting birds there.
