"From seeing flooding in earlier reviews, I guess we came in the dry season. Everything was easily accessible - and the walkway was well above water level. We spent 2 hours here. We first watched 2 short videos in the visitor center - about 15 minutes in total (on the history, and on the spring). Then, we took the advice of the ticket man and walked down about 150 stairs to the walkway that parallels the spring. We saw lots of flowers planted in a couple of gardens, the spring, some vintage equipment, a cave-like overhang, wildlife, and then went up an incline back to the level we entered. Restrooms are at the front. There's a gift shop. Good signage."

"The Blue Springs is a beautiful venue to spend an afternoon. The grounds had beautifully manicured flower beds and the walking trails and stairs were well maintained.
The trout pond and spring were beautiful. The Trail of tears history was respectfully displayed, and cast an appropriately somber undertone to the experience.
Some of the railings were a bit low, probably under ADA rules. This made navigation of the steps a bit harder than needed."
