The marker reads, "The Square was part of town founder Roswell King’s original town plan and is the center of the Roswell Historic District. The District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Street parking the far side is next to an outlet so it was great to be able to plug in the battery and do some charging while I explored.
While there are no public restrooms or other facilities here, it's a pretty park and a nice stop. There are a number of spots nearby to shop and eat. Lovely."

"I adore this little park. Tucked right across the street from the Mill in Downtown Roswell. You’re liable to miss it if you don’t know it’s there. It can get busy on the weekend but most days, it’s fairly empty during the day. Certainly worth the time it takes to stop and smell the roses. (Note: there are no roses)"
