"Hemingbough was the wedding venue for our son's wedding this past weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted it to be. Even since we booked it many months ago, lots of work has been done on the grounds and inside the large reception hall and it is even more beautiful. The amphitheater was a beautiful setting for their ceremony. Weather was perfect. Very quiet. Grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and the peacocks add something special. What makes this place so very special is the staff. They are so personable, friendly, and eager to make sure you are happy with every facet of your event. They offer suggestions when needed. They set up and take down. They fixed the meal and set up the buffet and made sure there was plenty of food. And it was good! They handled the bar area. They cut the cake and served it. They did the clean up. All we had to do was decorate. When we went back inside after seeing the couple off, they had already gathered all the decorations and placed them in one area so that all we had to do was pack everything up. We were exhausted so this was such a pleasant surprise! Several wedding attendees stayed on the grounds which is another plus. The cottages were quaint and very comfortable. Every effort was made to meet our every need. Mr. Arlin, Kori, Sheryl, and Ms. Dorothy are all exceptional people, plus others whose names I don't know. We felt like we were with family. Choose Hemingbough for your event. You will not be disappointed!!"
