"Lovely old cemetery dating from the 17th century situated just a short walk from Salem centre. Grounds are immaculately kept and it is very easy to see any graves you wish. Some very interesting headstones and grave slabs throughout the cemetery. Ground is flat throughout but there are some inclines for those with mobility problems. Situated just across the road from the Pickering historic house. Plenty of parking available."
Frank Murphy
"This was a neat experience seeing a very old cemetery in Salem. It is an old historic cemetery that dates back to the Witch Trial time. It is open to public. The place is peaceful. One exception: a man (drunk? Homeless? ) was sleeping h the fence making it uncomfortable so we left right after we saw him. He didn’t bother us. He was simply sleeping behind the grave stones."
