Count Orlok’s Nightmare Gallery in Salem MA

Anyone here ever been to this monster museum in Salem? I thought it was an awesome display of horror history with some really cool and life like sculptures. Even as a massive horror fan I can see how a lot of Salem could feel touristy and lame but this place was well well worth…

Reviews Summary

Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery is a highly recommended attraction for horror fans, praised for its incredibly realistic wax figures and impressive collection of movie memorabilia. Visitors appreciate the owner's passion and the immersive atmosphere, though the no-photography rule is a common point of note. It's a compact but impactful experience that offers great value for its ticket price.

"This is a fun experience.
No photos are allowed inside the museum itself, but the figures and displays are truly worth it.
Not too scary, but wouldn't necessarily recommend for very small children (based on the things I was afraid of at that age).
It took us about a half hour to 45 minutes with reading signs, etc.
One of the better museums in town - would recommend."

"Count Orlok’s Nightmare Gallery is a horror film museum located in Salem, Massachusetts. The museum features life sized sculptures of horror movie monsters from early 20th century horror movies to the present. Some of the best figures you can see in the museum include Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy, Frankenstein, the Terminator, Jason, Alien, the Exorcist, Michael Myers, Stranger Things, and Freddy Krueger. There are also wax figures of classic horror movie actors such Lon Cheney Jr, Bella Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Vincent Price. The museum also has movie memorabilia and life masks from different horror movie actors or directors. Personally, speaking I really liked the sculptures and movie props from early horror movies.
The museum is honest about what it offers and its rules when you go in. It takes about 15-30 minutes to go through depending on interest level and there are no photographs allowed. Tickets are $15.00 each and can be purchased online or at the museum. The staff was friendly. For more info or gifts check their website out. Definitely, an interesting spot to stop by while visiting Salem."
