"First I want to say that the service and location of the hotel are all top-notch. The staff are really friendly and efficient. It’s so central. Such a cool building.
However! It is so wildly overpriced for what you are getting. There are no refrigerators in the rooms which is so basic it’s expected at this point. There is no complementary breakfast, which is entirely expected as well. Everything about the room except perhaps the deep bathtub, is mid. I feel like I have been politely robbed. I expect to pay half of what I’m paying for this experience and these non-existent amenities."

The Hotel is at a prime location and within walking distance to many places in the heart of Salem. The hotel is a significant landmark known for its historical charm, connection to author Nathaniel Hawthorne, and a role as a popular event venue and haunted location.
We had an amazing stay and the hotel is first class all around from the rooms to the service to the location.
