"Leonard’s Mill Park is such a peaceful and beautiful spot in Salisbury. The scenery is gorgeous — with water views, plenty of wildlife (especially birds!), and lots of shaded picnic areas and a gazebo to relax in. It’s always very quiet when I visit, which makes it the perfect place for birdwatching, sketching, or just unwinding outdoors.
The park is family-friendly and well cared for, there’s also a playground, boat ramp, and baseball field. While I’ve never been inside, there is also a visitor center. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon surrounded by nature.
Tip: bring some snacks and sit by the water — it’s the perfect spot to watch birds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere."
