"Had a great visit. The folks here are really passionate about the Alamo, and it shows in everything they do. If you enjoy historical sites you can really appreciate the way everything is presented, displayed and maintained. There is so much to see, read and interact with, they truly did a spectacular job. It is worth booking in advance for the church and the museum. Also plan a day or half day to look at everything, stroll through the gardens and have lunch or dinner nearby. Plenty of restaurants and additional attractions."

"The Alamo Church is an absolute must-see when visiting San Antonio. Basic admission is free, and suprisingly the building had AC! The building’s rich history is something you can truly feel the moment you walk through the doors. Inside, there’s a room featuring a short video that shares the story of the church, and outside you’ll find a recreated encampment that adds to the experience. The gift shop is charming and full of unique finds. The only downside during our visit was the amount of construction happening in the area, but it didn’t take away from the significance of this historic landmark."

"The Alamo is such a great place to visit! The history and signs are well done, making it easy to take everything in. The merchandise shop team was incredibly friendly. A few workers, I’m not sure if they were historians or scientists, even took the time to chat with me, which made the experience feel extra welcoming. Access was super easy too since my hotel was just a few blocks away. Definitely worth the visit!"
