What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Belmont Park is a beloved beachfront amusement park offering a blend of historic rides, classic games, and vibrant atmosphere. Visitors praise its iconic Giant Dipper coaster, convenient beach access, and family-friendly entertainment. However, parking can be a significant challenge on weekends, and some find souvenir prices high.
"Wow what can I say if you haven't been to Belmont park you need to go. This little amusement park is right off of the beach. It is free to get in, but if you are going to get on the rides all of them I suggest get a wristband. If not a lot of the rides are like seven tickets and up. Each ticket costs a dollar. There are clothing stores here as well as gift shops. Has a lot of concession stands with amazing food. They also have this area called The Plunge or something where it's an indoor pool for the kids where the parents can work out at top. And the price is very reasonable and decent. There is also an arcade here as well as a little Carnival booths. And if you get bored here it's just a hop skip and jump away from the beach you walk to the back and there you go. Like I said if you haven't been here to Belmont in San Diego, it's a must your kids will love it. Here are some pictures from this park. Hope you enjoy, God bless you all."

"Went here after work to walk 3 miles. The parking lot was packed but still able to find a parking spot. The beach walking path is definitely interesting! From the parking lot to Pacific Beach and back is 4 miles. Loved the bubble lady!"

"Great historic beachfront amusement park right by mission beach that’s fun for all ages. The wooden coaster was very fun to ride, and exceeded expectations. The gyroscope/swinging ride was also a blast but would recommend not doing it on a full stomach nor if you get queasy easily. Also keep valuables in lockers or have somebody hold it while you ride because I saw someone’s phone drop from a ride and into a crack only accessible by the maintenance crew which took a while for them to get to. Miraculously phone was okay due to its case but don’t try your luck. Lots of things to do and parking was abundant."
