During our time in Fort Myers/Sanibel area we went to Blind Pass beach twice and from my experience the shelling here was great! I went early morning starting at 8 am and looked for shells to the left of the bridge and also past the wooden posts sticking up out of the water. Even brought a sand flea rake with me 🐚☀️🌊💕 #florida #travel #rvlife #beach #sanibel #fortmyers #beachvibes

Blind Pass Beach is a beloved spot for its exceptional shelling and stunning sunsets, offering a natural and peaceful escape. However, visitors consistently warn about dangerous tidal currents that make swimming unsafe, and the limited parking can be a significant challenge. InstagramReddit

"I would give 5 stars if there were more parking. Nice beach to shell and fish at. This is not a good swimming beach. The current from the tides have killed people here. There are warnings signs to stay out of the water because of said tides."

Richard Coradi

"Beach is finally back opened! This is one of my favorite beaches on the island. Though you can’t swim here,it’s a nice natural beach. The sand is very soft and tons of shells. The parking lot is small and turner beach is still closed. But glad this beach is back opened."
