"Spent a weekend before the camping rush. Very calm and relaxing. Water was pretty low. But we still had a great time for a first visit, we will definitely visit again."
Manuel Castillo
"An amazing sight almost hidden away. Exploring the lighthouse was a lot of fun. The water in the lake is low but the scenery is still absolutely gorgeous! Lots of picnic tables and a few restrooms. Definitely going to return later in the summer for a picnic or just to enjoy another day!"
Alice Watson
"Love this lake, will DEFINITELY return! Big lake with sandy beaches, and nice gradual grade into the water so my kids could wade in and I didn't have to be afraid of them dropping off a ledge. Water was clean and refreshing and the people were polite. We went on July 4th and it was PACKED! We still found a spot big enough for our family and the other family we were visiting. (5 people in each family, so a party of 10 people total) $12 a car for the whole day. Perfect imo for a cheap day of fun"
