Visitors rave about the Pima Dynamite Trailhead for its beautiful desert scenery and extensive trail network, suitable for hiking and mountain biking. The chance to see unique natural wonders like the crested saguaro is a major draw. While generally well-maintained, some find trail differentiation could be clearer, and sharing paths with bikers requires awareness.
"Beautiful area with lots of trails. My only complaint would be that the trails could be differentiated more clearly. We were trying to go on a shorter hike as we had a 3-year old & 75-year old, but ended up on a longer trail."

"Beautiful all purpose trail in the valley. I was on a mountain bike today. As a newbie mountain biker I rated this one as moderate because I'm not used to a single track and some of the technical points of riding over rocks uphill in a small track, so I discounted in this areas to keep safe. This is an extremely well maintained beautiful preserve and would suggest it to everyone."

"We stopped here for a quick hike on our way to the airport on a Tuesday morning in March and we’re amazed at what a lovely place this is. It wasn’t too crowded though we did have to share the trail with a few bikers. We did a 2 mile loop with the Latigo trail to the created saguaro and the scenic overlook. It took about an hour. Excellent trail signs including some giving info about the wildlife. Well maintained trails with no litter. Very clean bathrooms. Conservation stewards Joe and Bob gave us great trail suggestions and answered questions about cacti. Would definitely stop again or come back for a longer hike."
