Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Seal Rock, particularly its vibrant tide pools and abundant marine life like seals. The dramatic rock formations and scenic viewpoints are consistently praised. However, some visitors note that restrooms can be dirty, and the rapid tide changes require careful attention.
"Stopped by Seal Rock State Recreation Site and it turned out to be the perfect coast-break I needed. The rock formations jutting out into the ocean are wild — especially seeing the tide‐pools and birdlife in one spot. The paved viewpoint trail was super handy, and once you head down to the beach you can roam over cobbles and driftwood to get right by the water. Bring solid shoes and maybe plan around low tide for max exploration. Loved how peaceful it got, especially as the waves rolled in."

"To who ever left Jesus all over the part i think I found them all left all but one. Moved one to a pet memorial. I sure had fun and laughs. Espically after finding 2 more it was like a scavenger hunt.
My fiancee was in the bathroom when I yelled to him I found Jeasus. Then we met this cool guy with a pig and a dog forgot the names of them they sure were cool names."

"The tide pools were absolutely amazing and we counted 6 harbor seals that we enjoyed watching for a bit. It was a favorite and worthwhile stop along the Oregon coast.
The tide came in rapidly, so be aware! We noticed the change just in time to start heading back to shore without getting too wet, but it caught others off guard too, so do be aware.
Restrooms are available."
