While some note it's not a typical tourist attraction with extensive retail, its genuine maritime character is a significant draw for those interested in the industry.
"A great place to grab a sandwich and drink, and then walk around the docks, especially on the weekdays when the fisherman are actively working, just be sure to give them space to work. There are plenty of tables and benches to seat while you eat. You can also pick up freshly caught seafood at one of the many stores around the dock to take home and cook as well!"

"This is so cool!!!!! I have a friend works down there that's going to tell me when the deadliest catch boats come in. I've always wanted to see those up close. My mom will be so thrilled. This is a really cool place to go. There's beautiful boats and the restaurants. Really good. Chinooks it's a really cool old Seattle area"

"The fisherman's terminal is a nice place to get away from the busy life. There are places to eat near the water. Walking paths around the water that makes one feel tranquil. It's quite beautiful very early in the morning when the sun just begins to rise. When you look out at the water and the boats that are floating at bay you think , "Oh it looks like the boats are floating a top shining jewels.""
