Reviews Summary

Seligman is widely praised as a charming and nostalgic stop on Route 66, especially for fans of the movie 'Cars.' Visitors appreciate the friendly atmosphere, unique shops, and the authentic retro vibe. While some find it can get crowded, many recommend visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience.

"This is the birthplace of the historic Route 66. Well worth a stop! We have been to the anniversary while the fun run was taking place, which was amazing because lots of petrol heads with their beautiful classic cars gathered. The shops, bars and cafes are very nice and friendly as well and add to a great experience. Talking to the locals is great to hear more about the story of the town and the historic Route 66."

Markus Kambeck

"We are Phoenix natives, but had not spent time in Seligman before. We stopped last Friday and spent a couple of hours, and had a good visit. The timing was right, as it was off peak and a weekday, so we didn't have as many tourists to deal with as usual (my daughter and I were here back in early May to buy a motorcycle, all we had time for was to eat and head back. The town was packed with tourists busses and tourists. Good for the local trade and shops. But I don't like crowds). The weather was perfect. High 70's with passing summer showers and a light breeze. We will be back again."

Bryan Stanley

"Seligman is definitely a must-stop town on Route 66! The whole town has a nostalgic charm, like stepping into a living museum. One of our favorite spots was Copper Cart – Route 66 Motoporium. Outside the shop, you’ll find eye-catching vintage cars that make you want to stop and snap a few photos. Inside, it gets even better—with a great selection of Route 66 souvenirs and a display of classic motorcycles that really capture the golden age of American road trips. It’s a perfect spot for photos, gifts, and soaking in the retro road culture!"
