"Small museum focused on the history of Sheridan. Displays are related to coal and other industries that were important to the area. Many of the displays required a lot of reading but there were 2 interesting dioramas; One of Sheridan when roads were not paved; Another of a coal mining town. Spent about 30 minutes. Cute gift shop."

"They moved and are in the former Woolworth building so your adventure will have to wait till after the new year,as such the only thing I have to report is nice people will break that bad news to you.keep checking to see the opening date and it looks like it will be nice.theres food and attractions nearby.check out king ropes museum while you wait"

"It was a nice visit. The museum isn't large but has a decent range of displays. Many highlight individuals' stories to tell the story of the area, and there are many artifacts of everyday items of the household and workplace. The people working it were really nice. It also has a gift shop. I spent about an hour-and-a-half, but I tend to gawk at details and read everything. It won't take most people that long. There was PLENTY of parking too."
