"This is a World-class mineral museum well-worth the drive from Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and all surrounding areas. These are beautiful specimens from all over the world, displayed in the best way possible. The museum is free to visit and has great accommodations for physical handicaps.
Make some time for a 14-mile drive from the museum and visit the Owl Bar in San Antonio, NM for one of the best green chile cheeseburgers in the state.
This is definitely a great weekend day outing that the whole family will enjoy."
