"A great place to visit with kids or as a couple! It smells like a real farm, and if you grew up on one, it instantly brings back childhood memories. The ostriches are absolutely incredible! I’ve seen them before, but never this close — they’re not just birds, they’re living dinosaurs! Their huge feet look like they came straight out of Jurassic Park.
It’s a fantastic spot for a family trip. Just be careful — ostriches love to sneak in a little pinch :)

"Fun activity to do right outside of Solvang. The cost was reasonable at $7 for adults and $3 for 12 & younger. The feed is $1 per bowl. You have to buy feed as that is the highlight of the visit. In my opinion the feed bowl can be shared with people taking turns.
There are both ostriches and emus to feed. While feeding the birds, have patience for them to come to you.
Lastly, it would be great if there was more educational signage."
