What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the park's amenities, including the well-maintained tennis courts and accessible playground. The natural beauty along Sonoma Creek, with opportunities to spot wildlife like otters, is a highlight. However, some concerns have been raised regarding off-leash dogs in areas frequented by children, impacting those with allergies or specific needs.
"While I haven’t explored the entire park yet, there’s plenty to do here. I particularly enjoyed the tennis courts. There are five fenced-in courts in total, located next to a skatepark that’s part of the larger regional park. The courts are also close to the highway and behind the Maxwell Shopping Center, so if you're headed there, it's easiest to park in the shopping center lot. For convenience, there are restrooms available at Lucky’s grocery store in the center as well.
The tennis courts are well-maintained and family-friendly. I’ve only been here on Saturdays, and I’ve found that mornings (around 8 or 9 am) are generally not too busy, aside from the occasional teacher and trainee. The local tennis community is welcoming and respectful, making it a great place to play."

"The park is beautiful, there is a place for children to play, the problem is that people with dogs cannot just keep them away from the CHILDREN'S area, which seems irresponsible on their part and 0 empathy, in my case my daughter has autism and is allergic to dogs, so there should be some empathy on the part of those owners."
