What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Runway Bike Park is overwhelmingly praised as an epic, world-class facility offering free, all-weather biking fun for all ages and skill levels. Visitors rave about the well-designed pump track and diverse skills courses, with many highlighting the unique helicopter run. The main drawback mentioned is the limited shade, suggesting visitors come prepared for sunny days.
"This place is amazing. Great for all ages and skill levels. My 8 year old daughter w/ limited bike experience outside of the neighborhood streets had a great time, as did I. The bike playground for the little ones w/ less experience is a great way to ease them into it. Then the pump track is so well designed and built and will offer plenty of challenges. Finally the skills park with the 3 different tracks is a blast. My daughter loved riding the green track over and over while I had a ton of fun on all 3 different skill tracks. Bring your bikes to Springdale and enjoy this gem of a bike park. We will be making the 2+ drive to enjoy this again soon."

"Super fun bike park with a few different difficulty levels. Our fave part was the helicopter and the kids thought it was really cool to see the airplanes landing and taking off at the run way while riding too! They only have one covered picnic table area to offer some shade but it looks like they may eventually put more."
Amanda Andrews
"This is a fantastic bike park for children of different ages. I have a 2, 4, and 6 year old who love riding here. The park is well built, clean, safe, and there's always parking available."

Navigating the Tracks: A Rider's Guide
The Pump Track is a standout feature, constructed from smooth asphalt. It’s designed to be ridden without pedaling, relying on pumping motions to maintain momentum. This all-weather surface means it’s often rideable even when local dirt trails are muddy, making it a reliable spot for consistent practice.
For more advanced riders, the Skills Courses offer a thrilling challenge. There are three distinct tracks, each with varying levels of difficulty, incorporating jumps, wooden berms, and rollers. One particularly memorable run even takes riders through a repurposed helicopter, adding a unique visual element to the ride.
Community and Accessibility
The park's design also emphasizes all-weather usability. The use of asphalt for the pump track and skills courses means that riders can often enjoy the park even after significant rainfall, a significant advantage in regions with unpredictable weather. This feature ensures that the park remains a viable option for exercise and fun throughout the year.
While the park is a fantastic resource, it's worth noting that shade can be limited, with only one covered picnic table area mentioned. Visitors are advised to plan accordingly, especially during warmer months, by bringing their own shade solutions and ample hydration.
