The Rose Garden was a stunning setting for cocktail hour, and the Rainbow Room was undeniably the coolest and most elegant spot for our reception. "We had a beautiful fall wedding at the historic Hotel Baker in St Charles. What a fantastic venue. We had our celebration in the Waterfront room which boast views of the Fox River on three sides. The room was just exquisite. Our guest had access to the patio as well as to the St Charles room for cocktails. The service was outstanding and the food was top notch. We had filet, salmon and chicken, hors d'oeuvres a
sweet table the staff was attentive and on top of their game. The room itself is just beautiful with painted ceilings and stone work with all kinds of touches from a bygone era, the hotel itself has a ghost apparently lol there is some history regarding gangsters having frequented there movie stars have been married there seriously you cannot ask for a more colorful and more beautiful and more historic venue for your wedding. I only wish that we could do it all over again!!!"
