Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Gateway Arch as an architectural marvel and a symbol of American history. The museum is highly regarded for its educational content and engaging exhibits, while the tram ride to the top offers breathtaking views. Some visitors note that the time at the top is brief and that managing time between the museum and the tram can be challenging with limited parking packages.

"The museum was very educational and informative and enjoyable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the displays were laid out well. The tram ride to the top of the Arch was a unique experience too (not for the claustrophobic for sure). The time at the top is just about right, you take pictures out both sides (although the Illinois view is a bit bland). The tram ride down is a bit quicker and then you climb the stairs and head out right at the base the Arch for more pictures."

"The Museum at the Gateway Arch is fantastic. I absolutely loved it. It is super cool, very clean, well put together, and overall a wonderful experience.

It had been a while since I had gone to the top, and the whole experience is completely different now. The museum does an excellent job of walking you through the competition for the design, the history, and the unbelievable engineering that went into creating the Arch. You walk away with a new appreciation for how this iconic monument was even possible.

The ride to the top is about three minutes. I am claustrophobic myself, but it was absolutely doable, and so worth it. Once you’re up there and looking out those windows, you understand immediately why people line up to do it.

The Arch is an architectural marvel, and this museum helps you grasp just how incredible it really is. I highly recommend visiting. I will make it a point to come back every time I’m in Saint Louis."

"The St. Louis Arch is absolutely breathtaking, an architectural marvel that’s even more impressive in person than in photos. The design is sleek, iconic, and beautifully represents the Gateway to the West. Standing beneath it, you really get a sense of its scale and the craftsmanship that went into creating such a unique structure. The surrounding park area is clean and inviting, perfect for walking around and taking in different views of the Arch. It’s one of those must see landmarks that leaves a lasting impression, and I’m really glad I had the chance to experience it firsthand."
